LORRIE TOWNE - Lorrie’s goal in teaching yoga is to help her students discover joy and peace in and out of the yoga studio. What started as a way to work out and manage  her own stress soon became away of life. In her practice of yoga and meditation came an understanding of it’s power to heal the body and mind.  It is her belief that any one of any age can learn the art of yoga. Lorrie’s teachings incorporate understanding and compassion for each person along their journey.  She is a Certified 200 hr Yoga Instructor of Advanced Training including Hatha, Asana, Meditation and Philosophy.  Her passion for healing has lead to additional certification as a Reiki Master, Aroma Touch Therapist and Wellness Advocate with essential oils. Lorrie’s yoga style joins all of her life’s lessons with precise alignment, breath and flow with structure, safety and traditional yoga elements at its core.

REBECCA TILTON Entrepreneur by Nature, Yoga Enthusiasts at heart!

Do you ever feel like your missing out on your true self? I was! I realized my day to day commitments were not enough and I wanted to do more.I decided I was going to open a yoga studio which would help give back to the people in our community. We purchased a spot, started construction and I enrolled in the Illumina RYT200 hour Yoga training program. In June 2018 THE YOGA NOOK opened it's doors!

Teaching Yoga has allowed me to show others like myself who suffer from back issues and tight hamstrings ways to stretch and strengthen those areas. Each of my classes start off with a light warm up then a flow ending with a deap stretch and a restorative pose to allow the body to settle and feel the results of their practice.

EMILY WALL - Emily grew up in York, Maine, and has recently moved back since living in Georgia and Louisiana for the past five years. In 2015 while living in Athens, GA, she took the plunge to do a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified Hatha Yoga training. Shortly after her training she moved to Louisiana to get her master’s degree at LSU in environmental sciences. While living in Louisiana Emily found her passion for Ashtanga yoga, and started practicing with Certified teacher Melanie Fawer, whom she did another 200-hr training with in 2017. Emily also studies with Taylor Hunt at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus, and completed the Ashtanga Yoga and Addiction Forum in the fall of 2018. She hopes to spread the life changing practice of yoga to others, so that they too can experience the connection to themselves and others, the strength and flexibility you gain physically and mentally, and the importance of the breath to bring you into the present moment.

HOLLY PELLETIER - Holly is a passionate and driven teacher and student of yoga. She first found yoga as a anxiety ridden college student with extremely tight hamstrings, and almost instantly, fell in love with the practice. Over the years, her practice has shifted in many ways and after completing two teacher trainings and countless other workshops and continuing education courses, she has gathered information from many different lineages to help create her own unique style that focuses a great deal on alignment, intention, energy, and key concepts from Chinese medicine. Holly’s other work, her “day job”, is that of an acupuncturist, which she cares deeply about. Her love of the two healing modalities combine seamlessly in her classes and her acupuncture sessions, which gives her unique insight into the inner workings of the body and it’s meridian systems. As a result, her teachings do not only tap into the physical, but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual realms. Holly currently holds her E-RYT 200 in Vinyasa yoga, is a licensed acupuncturist in both Maine and Massachusetts, and is certified in First Aid/CPR/AED. www.holisticallyinspired.org
